Holistic Birthworks is the culmination of over 25 years of working as a Birthworker, in my role as a Midwife within the NHS and my private practice as a Cranio sacral therapist, Holistic Maternity Therapist and Doula.

I understand that in todays world it can be daunting to sift through the vast array of information out there regarding pregnancy, birth and the early days of parenthood, and it can lead to anxiety and overwhelm at times for expectant & new parents.

My passion is to offer specialised holistic care for women, babies and families, with the experience and understanding that each woman, baby, pregnancy, labour, birth and feeding journey is unique and one size definitely does not fit all. Combining my midwifery experience and knowledge within an holistic framework enables me to offer evidence based safe care that supports you on every level, emotionally and physically, promoting normality and empowering you to trust your body and enjoy the journey.

I truly believe that when we understand and appreciate the physiology of birth, breastfeeding and newborn physiology, the hormones, the rhythms, the innate intelligence—we can approach it with less fear and more confidence. I work in partnership with you, with respect and presence and offer time and space to feel seen, heard and supported.
